WHAS UP
Happy New Year
Another year is gone... a new one just begun. Don't know about you, but just sittin' here thinkin'
"Good riddance 2011!" Okay, it wasn't that bad a year but it tested the patience, that's for sure!
And we have lots to look forward to this year.
Semi Tone is continuing playing every second Thursday night at
The Dickens
in downtown Burlington. Through the winter and spring, Mark will be teaming up with a different
"Tone Deafians" for each show, starting at 9pm and going to 1am. In the summer, we'll be
takin' 'er outdoors onto the patio, running from 7 to 11. And speaking of "Summer" and "Patio"...
which we could really use a dose of right now... come summer,
Semi Tone will be hanging on
The Dickens
patio every other Sunday afternoon through out the summer as well (2-6).
Tone Deaf is doing their fair share of shows at
The Dickens
too... as well as
Jerseys and the
Carrigan Arms.
Catch them St. Patty's at
Jerseys,
Christmas, Easter, and Sound of Music parties at
The Dickens
and, of course, Hallowe'en at
Carrigan Arms.
Sugar Dali is keeping busy too with monthly shows at The James Joyce,
as well as shows at
The Honest Lawyer
and others. And Mono Tone is hanging every 6 to 8 weeks at
Rebels Rock.
Lots of other things going on too... it's gonna be a busy year! Keep well and we hope to see you soon. Cheers!

THINGS THAT ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO SAY WHEN DRUNK:
1. Specificity
2. Anti-constitutionalistically
3. Passive-aggressive disorder
4. Transubstantiate
THINGS THAT ARE DOWNRIGHT IMPOSSIBLE TO SAY WHEN DRUNK:
1. Thanks, but I don't want to have sex.
2. Nope, no more booze for me!
3. Sorry, but you're not really my type.
4. Taco Bell? No thanks, I'm not hungry.
5. Good evening, officer. Isn't it lovely out tonight?
6. Oh, I couldn't! No one wants to hear me sing karaoke.
7. I'm not interested in fighting you.
8. Thank you, but I won't make any attempt to dance, I have no coordination. I'd hate to look like a fool!
9. Where is the nearest bathroom? I refuse to pee in this parking lot or on the side of the road.
10. I must be going home now, as I have to work in the morning.
